It’s your favorite nutty, chewy, chocolatey candy bar, made guilt-free! Made with dates, Peanut Yumbutter, almonds, and a rich chocolate layer, you might want to go ahead and make a double batch. This viral treat is that good.
Healthier Date Candy Bite Ingredients
10 dates, pitted
2 cups Peanut Butter Yumbutter
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1 cup melted semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions
In a parchment lined pan, lay out the dates evenly and then press them down with a cup to smush/spread them out a bit more. Pour Peanut Butter Yumbutter over top of the dates.
Sprinkle almonds on top of the Peanut Butter Yumbutter. Melt semi sweet chocolate chips in a microwave at 30 second intervals for 2 minutes, stirring in between. Pour melted chocolate on top.
Let chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours or until the chocolate is firm. Cut, serve and enjoy.
