Don't let the crazy color from the sunflower seeds scare ya - these no-bake sunflower seed bars are three layers of YASSSS. Fire up that blender or food processor and let's get layerin'!
Ingredients
Base layer:
¼ cup sunflower seeds
¼ cup coconut flakes
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
½ cup Yumbutter sunflower butter (or any other Yumbutter variety)
1 tbsp maple syrup
Center filling:
½ cup Yumbutter sunflower butter
1 tbsp maple syrup
Pinch of sea salt
Topping:
1 chocolate bar of choice
1 tbsp coconut oil
Directions
Blend all Base Layer ingredients in a food processor or high-powered blender until sticky dough forms. Press into a lined loaf pan and set aside.
Combine Center Filling ingredients in a bowl and mix until combined. Spread evenly over the base layer. If you’re having trouble spreading your butter, try adding 1 tbsp melted coconut oil to the mixture.
Combine Topping ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and heat until melted. Stir to combine. Pour evenly over the Center Filling layer. Place in the freezer to set. Enjoy!
