These tasty cakes are full of warming chai spices, a hit of flax for extra fiber and omega-3s, and topped with protein-packed yogurt and almond butter to help you stay full 'til lunch!
Ingredients
- 1 cup quick pancake mix
- 1 teaspoon flax seeds
- 1 teaspoon chai spice
- Dash of cinnamon
- 1 cup water
Toppings
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- Yumbutter almond butter syrup drizzle (1 tablespoon melted Yumbutter No Sugar Added Almond Butter + 1/4 cup maple syrup)
- Banana slices
- Cinnamon
Directions
Mix all pancake ingredients in a large bowl and scoop by the quarter cup onto a heated skillet or griddle. Cook until golden brown, flipping each pancake when bubbles arise in the batter.
Melt almond butter in a saucepan or microwave, then stir in maple syrup if desired. Top pancakes with yogurt, almond butter drizzle, banana, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy!
