Chai Flaxseed Pancakes⁣

There's nothing like a hot stack of pancakes on a chilly morning, but all those simple carbs can leave you with a crash by 10AM. These tasty cakes are full of warming chai spices, a hit of flax for extra fiber and omega-3s, and topped with protein-packed yogurt and almond butter to help you stay full 'til lunch!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick pancake mix⁣
  • 1 teaspoon flax seeds⁣
  • 1 teaspoon chai spice⁣
  • Dash of cinnamon⁣
  • 1 cup water⁣

Directions

Mix all pancake ingredients in a large bowl and scoop by the quarter cup onto a heated skillet or griddle. Cook until golden brown, flipping each pancake when bubbles arise in the batter.

Melt almond butter in a saucepan or microwave, then stir in maple syrup if desired. Top pancakes with yogurt, almond butter drizzle, banana, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy!
